  • I come from a creative family - Father was a writer and comedian; Mother was a classically trained pianist: Brother is a filmmaker; I am an abstract painter.  I received a BA in Fine Arts at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL last century; then worked in NASA publication in Houston, TX.  In 2022 I moved to New York City and stud

  • I am stimulated by the world's cultures, people and religions and have visited 50 countries.  Some of my paintings are political; others deal with thoughts of life, death, and afterlife; I love people and New York Scenes.  I find relief in creating lighter paintings of shapes, landscapes, and flowers. I also worked for NASA and enjoy astr

  • I am stimulated by the world's cultures, people and religions and have visited 50 countries.  Some of my paintings are political; others deal with thoughts of life, death, and afterlife; I love people and New York Scenes.  I find relief in creating lighter paintings of shapes, landscapes, and flowers. I also worked for NASA and enjoy astronomical venues.  I primarily work in acrylic work via pouring and brushes.

My Inspiration

  • I love the abstract expressionists particularly Willem and Elaine deKooning, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollack, Lee Krasner, Joan Mitchell and Helen Frankenthaler.  My favorite sculptors are Auguste Rodin and Alberto Giacometti.
